Did you know that President George Washington sat inside our bar, well it was a living room then, April 7, 1791? Documented history tells Pres. Washington's horses got a little jumpy and pulled the President into the Occoquan River while crossing on the ferry. As fate would have it, the ferryman lived in town and asked the president if he would like to dry off in front of his fireplace. The president gladly accepted the offer, and the rest is history!!! bourbon haunted house coffee Occoquan Historic District
